We automate the things that are most important to us, the things we don’t want to forget.  To assist our not forgetting to give God our first fruits we are able to automate our tithe.  And when we want to give beyond 10% we can always do so as a one-time gift online, through the giving link found in the Open Life Church app, or simply by texting the amount to 84321.

Why should I give online?

Giving online is simple and easy. It helps our admin volunteers not have to spend extra man-hours manually entering content into our data management software. It allows you to automate the important, through recurring giving so that you do not have to remember to give monthly, or login while you are out of town on payday.

 

Is online giving secure?

Planning Center Giving provides data security using the latest security technology through their processing company Stripe.  They know how important it is to keep your data safe and secure in a day where every act of fraud seems to involve your credit information.  This is why, no matter the platform you give through, it uses an email verification with a giving link to confirm the gift is actually desired by you.

Will I still receive an annual giving statement?

Yes, we will mail your year-end giving statement directly to your home, postmarked no later than January 31st, for your tax purposes.  It will include any giving you have done through Open Life if the total annually is larger than $20.

 

Can I schedule recurring contributions?

You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. You can do this using your bank account directly ACH (this lowers the cost to the church for processing) or with your credit card.  We call this “automating the important”.  To edit your recurring giving, simply follow the giving link to the giving screen and click on “my profile” to see all of your giving information.

What if I forget my password?

When you create your account, you will determine your own login id and password. If you forget your login id or password, you can have the system email it to you by entering the email address that you used when you created your account. If you need help or cannot remember the email address you used, you can contact us at info@openlife.church. You can also change your password at any time.
