Open Life Has Purchased Finn Hall

It’s official, Open Life has purchased Finn Hall

What is currently known as the Finn Hall, built in 1918 just off of 410 on 234th is now owned by Open Life.  Open Life closed on the purchase on July 30th and will now begin reestablishing this building to its original time frame on the inside and do some renovations to bring it into the current era.

Open Life plans to hold events and discipleship on this location they have yet to name. But just as much they want the building to maintain its original intent, to be a place where people come together within the community. So it will be for Open Life’s constant and primary use, but will be a gift to the community as well. A community gathering place where people come together.

Open Life will continue to hold its services at Bonney Lake High School’s Performing Arts Center on Sundays at 10am.

Open Life envisions hosting many church and community events on this property with the development of a front terraced entry, remodeled and enlarged bathrooms, and a beautiful garden area along the back under the huge maple tree. As well, with the build-out of a kitchen to the Northeast corner, they will be able to host community dinners on a weekly basis starting in the Spring or Fall of 2022.

The potential within this central location to all the surrounding communities is unlimited and Open Life has already begun working towards the vision of this space. Keep watching for the progress and transformation of this important community building.
