Serve Sunday 2026

This Sunday is Serve Sunday at Open Life Church, and instead of meeting at Bonney Lake High School, we’ll be gathering at GoodRoots Northwest for a special all-church serve opportunity. Together, we’ll be assembling Power Packs for students in our local schools—an awesome way for the whole family to serve our greater Bonney Lake region.

TIME?
10 AM (our usual service time).

PARKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Please refer to the image below for a map of the facility with marked parking areas.

• You may park in any green-marked parking areas around the facility.
• Please avoid parking in the spaces directly in front of Starlit Quilts (marked red) and Peak Paddle & Racket Club (located on the east side of the warehouse—these spots are not shown on the map).

ENTRANCE:
You can enter the Warehouse through:

• The main door on the Hwy 410 side
  • Note: this entrance includes a staircase.
• A stair-free entrance on the north side, through the right side of the Dock 8 ramp.
• We’ll have Open Life signs and volunteers guiding you.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?
We’ll be working together in a simple assembly-line process to pack as many Power Packs as we can with the supplies available. These packs provide students with nutritious food for the weekend. Last year, our church packed over 1,900 Power Packs during Serve Sunday! We’ll also have a team helping with sorting and date-checking donated food in the warehouse.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING?
Just yourself and comfortable clothing. The warehouse can be a bit cool, so we recommend dressing in layers to stay comfortable while working.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
Serve Sunday gives us a direct way to live out our value of being present with our community by serving together. Additionally, Bonney Lake High School is hosting a robotics tournament this weekend, making our regular service setup difficult. Being able to gather at GoodRoots Northwest is a huge blessing—and a great chance for our church to make a tangible impact in our community.
