Make Every Effort
In week seven of Living Hope, we begin our journey through 2 Peter and discover Peter’s urgent challenge to keep growing in our faith. Rooted in 2 Peter 1, this message reminds us that God has given us everything we need for a godly life through Jesus Christ, but we are still called to make every effort to grow in goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, mutual affection, and love. As followers of Jesus, we are challenged not to become complacent, but to continually pursue spiritual growth and remember the hope we have in Christ’s promised return.
Open Life Church gathers each Sunday at 10:00 AM at the Bonney Lake High School Performing Arts Center. These online messages are available for those unable to join us in person and are typically filmed earlier in the week at The Gathering Place, then released each Sunday morning.
