Mariners Faith & Family Day

Saturday, August 26th 1:10 pm game vs. the Kansas City Royals.

Open Life has reserved three rows, which is 56 tickets, on the main level for the Faith & Family Day game at T-Mobile Park.

This Spring I (Thad) was in a conversation with one of our families who has a middle school students who was experiencing the challenge to engage in church and truly be interested. It was a point of conversation more than the parent desired. They had mentioned just how much this student loved baseball. Having served at a church in the past that did major outreaches with professional athletes sharing their testimonies, I immediately thought about finding this opportunity with our own professional baseball team. After a bit of digging we found that the Mariners have a game where following, they take time to share player testimonies and even have Christian musicians at the park.

We immediately reached out to the group sales department and got those tickets somewhere in the 110 main level area reserved. (exact tickets will be sent to us closer to the game to distribute)

We know that this specific family is praying for a powerful day at the park. A day where the sport of interest for their student will open their heart to hear the power of the gospel and awaken a deeper hunger for the things of Jesus and the sport.

God uses whatever means necessary to chase us down and allow us to discover more about the power of God and work in and through us. He used music with me, the church as a family with my wife and we are praying baseball is another one of those God appointments for this family and more this August 26th.

So, we will get a great Summer game, each person in our group will have the opportunity to get a free limited-edition Mariners-themed Faith and Family T-Shirt, players sharing their testimonies, and some Christian music all in one fun filled afternoon.
All this in addition to the potential life change for those within our church and the entire stadium on this beautiful summer day.
