Christmas at Open Life

Christmas at Open Life

Every year at Open Life we walk through a series of messages at Christmas time called Advent. For generations the church has celebrated advent, which refers to the four weeks leading up to Christmas. Advent means the arrival of a notable person, and in our case, it’s when we remember Jesus’ arrival and anticipate his return. We will look back and look forward with great anticipation, being filled with hope, peace, joy and love this Christmas.

December 3 - Hope
December 10 - Peace
December 17 - Joy
December 24 - Christmas Eve Family Service (Love)

Christmas Eve Service

December 24th | 10 am - 11 am

Come join us for Christmas Eve at Open Life Church. This will be a service for the whole family together in the Performing Arts Center. The morning will be full of familiar Christmas songs, and an encouraging message on the Advent theme of Love, with moments mixed in for the kids to participate as well. Celebrate Jesus' birth, take a picture with the family, and get some goodies for the kids to enjoy during and following the service...don't miss this amazing start to your Christmas Eve.

Advent Devotionals

We have physically handed Advent resources to families with children and youth already, but this Sunday, December 3rd begins a bible reading devotional produced by the BibleProject. You can read more about Advent guided by the BibleProject HERE.
